A Registered Nurse with extensive experience in general, mental health, aged care and disability sectors as well as lecturing in UG and PG nursing education programs. This experience includes working in the public, private and not for profit NGO sectors. Background in disability includes working with the WA Disability Commission of a state-wide project to implement the Code of Practice for the Reduction and Elimination of Restrictive Practices in Disability Services which included several weeks advanced Behaviour Support training with then Victorian A/Senior Practitioner Dr Lynn Webber. As a contracted assessor with JAS-ANZ, his areas of expertise covers NDIS high risk modules and registration groups. Michael consults with Aboriginal Health Organisations in WA, sits on several NGO Boards and is active with his professional body (Australian College of Mental Health Nurses).
