Participant Handbook – Plain English

The Participant Handbook is used to provide critical information to NDIS participants about rights, responsibilities and so on, which contributes to addressing mandatory accessibility requirements under the NDIS Practice Standards.

Plain English is a direct style of writing.  Plain English looks and sounds like standard forms of writing. It is designed for people with reasonable literacy skills and used to reach a general audience. It is designed for family members, friends, and advocates of people with disability.
